A balanced diet for your dog should include the following elements:

If your dog has diarrhea, there are some steps you can take to help:

1. Feeding break : Avoid giving your dog solid food for 12 to 24 hours to relieve stress on the gastrointestinal tract. Fresh water should always be available to prevent dehydration.
2. Cooked carrots: Always help. Cook washed and peeled carrots until soft, mash them, and feed them to your dog alone and then with the bland food.
3. Gentle food : After the feeding break, you can offer easily digestible foods such as cooked chicken (without skin), cooked rice, and cooked carrots. Feed smaller meals throughout the day.
