Needs-based horse feeding – basics
- High-quality hay or grass silage, at least 1.5 kg per 100 kg body weight daily
- Constant access to fresh, clean water
- Feed quantity and composition depending on age, weight, posture, use and health status
- Supplementation with a suitable mineral feed to cover basic needs
- Use in cases of increased energy requirements, e.g. in sport horses or during growth
- Mold and dust-free feed, regularly checked
- Several small portions a day, feeding times as even as possible
- Getting your digestion used to new components
Can I feed several different herbs at the same time
We recommend feeding only one mixture at a time. If necessary, you can feed two different mixtures, one in the morning and the other in the evening, but never two at the same time.
Can herbs and medicines be fed together?
You can feed our herbal products with most medications, but consult your veterinarian first!
How often should you feed herbs?
Herbs should be fed as a course of treatment lasting 4-6 weeks. However, continuous administration is also possible; please follow the feeding recommendations.
How do I feed the herbs?
Simply mix into the food: You can simply mix the herbs into the food or mash 1-2 times a day.
